On Wednesday, September 29, we will have the full SOW schedule with a pizza dinner.

To eat pizza, please register here by 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, or call the church office, 803-771-4408.

  • Pizza will be served 5:15-6 p.m., or you may bring your own meal and join us on the front lawn.
  • $5 per person for pizza with a $20 maximum per family.
  • Pay online when you register or at the door (checks and cash).
  • Drinks will be provided.

SOW schedule update:

In October, we will move SOW fellowship once per month for a meal on the second Wednesday:

  • October 13.
  • November 10.
  • December 8.
  • All choirs will continue to meet weekly according to the schedule.
  • A nursery will be provided only when we have the full SOW schedule on the second Wednesday.

Schedule

Shine Bible Study (grades three through five)
6-6:35 p.m. (Room 109)
Both Arise and Shine Bible studies will be exploring our spiritual vocabulary this fall. Children will learn about words like grace, hope and forgiveness through art, games and storytelling.

Arise Choir (ages 4 through first grade)
6-6:35 p.m. (Room 224)
Incorporates preparatory music-reading, singing and learning to assist in the leadership of worship. Children sing in worship as scheduled, including the 4 p.m. Children’s Tableau on Christmas Eve.

Adult Bible Study (led by Rev. Jenny McDevitt)
6-6:45 p.m. (Davis Hall)

Youth Bible Study (grades six through 12)
6:15-7 p.m. (McDonald Youth Center, upstairs)
Come deepen your understanding of the Bible as we explore God’s word to us. This fall we will be talking about stories in the Bible that are strange but true. Perhaps you’ve heard of the giant fish that swallows a man, but have you ever heard the one about the talking donkey?  Come find out when you join us for bible study this fall led by Molly Spangler.

Tintinnabulators (handbells)
Rehearsals, 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays (Room 223)
Adults or high school students who can read music; no prior handbell experience is required. Bell playing using all standard bell techniques. The Tintinnabulators assist in worship as scheduled. 

Arise Bible Study (grades one and two)
6:40-7:15 p.m. (Room 109)

Shine Choir (grades two through five)
6:40-7:15 p.m. (Room 224)
Music-reading and vocal skills are developed for a lifetime of music-making to praise God. Children sing in worship as scheduled, including the 4 p.m. Children’s Tableau on Christmas Eve.

Chancel Choir
Rehearsals, 7 p.m. (Choir Room)
Adults of all ages are welcome to sing. The Chancel Choir is a dedicated group of singers who lead worship each week and sing special programs of music at Christmas and Holy Week
