Adult choirs and music

Music is an important part of worship at Shandon Presbyterian. Children, youth and adults are invited to share and develop their gifts by participating in the choirs. Other instruments are frequently used in services, as well.

An unauditioned choral ensemble for adults of all ages. Only a joy of music required.

  • Rehearsals: Wednesdays 7:30 -9 p.m. in the choir rehearsal room (222)



Brass ensemble: open to brass enthusiasts of all ages. Rehearsals as needed.

String ensemble: players of all ages are welcome. Rehearsals as needed.

Celtic ensemble:  Open to string, acoustic guitar, woodwind players, and other celtic instrumentalists of all ages. Ability to read music is helpful. Rehearsals as needed.


The Tintinnabulators (adults or high school students with experience) is an advanced handbell choir for experienced ringers. This group plays advanced music with a variety of technical and musical challenges using all standard bell techniques.
