Youth choirs and music

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth;

Music is an important part of worship at Shandon Presbyterian. Children, youth and adults are invited to share and develop their gifts by participating in the choirs. Other instruments are frequently used in services, as well.

Youth in grades six through 12 are invited to participate. The emphasis is on part-singing, vocal techniques, music literacy and service to the church through musical leadership. Youth sing in worship throughout the liturgical year based on a published calendar.

  • Rehearsals: Sundays 5-5:30 p.m. during the school year in the choir rehearsal room (222)



Non-adult ringers with handbell experience – moderately difficult bell playing and various bell techniques. Youth will play in church on Sunday once or twice each quarter.
