Youth Sunday School

Out of precaution to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, adjustments have been made to our Sunday School schedule. For more details, please click here.

Youth ministry programs at Shandon foster faith development and spiritual growth. Sunday School classes, fellowship, mission trips and other events provide a variety of opportunities for youth to demonstrate and articulate their faith in the church, the community and the world.

(McDonald Youth Center, downstairs)
The Whirl! curriculum by Sparkhouse follows the lectionary and helps children understand the church year and its seasons. Every Whirl! lesson follows a four-part sequence: Welcome, Hear, Respond and Launch. Led by Dee DeBerry, Scott Winburn, Herb Blake and Kathleen McDaniel.

(McDonald Youth Center, upstairs)
Join Janet Hudson, Edie McNeish, Laura Covington and Tinsley Moise for coffee, waffles and conversation about how our faith is impacted by the world around us. Conversations will be led by the PC(USA) curriculum Faith Questions.
