2027 Stewardship & Generosity
“What if God, in all God’s wisdom, is offering you bold enjoyment? What if God is counseling you toward more laughter, more parties, more walks by the lake, more checking in on a lonely neighbor, more visits to the art museum, more having friends over for dessert? What if a joyous new you will have more to offer your suffering generation than an overly serious you could ever bring to the table? What if joy is the most underrated strategy for a better future for all of us?”
Ray Ortlund
“What if joy is the most underrated strategy for a better future for all of us?” This powerful question will shape our thinking about stewardship and generosity this season, for joy leads to abundance in every direction.
Sometimes our habit is to think of joy as something to keep to ourselves or feel guilty about; after all, there is no shortage of heartbreak in the world. But what if we viewed joy as contagious? What if we viewed joy as the way we make our way to abundant living for everyone? What if we looked at our financial giving as an expression of that abundant joy?
Stewardship & Generosity Sunday is November 15, 2026.
We will give thanks for God’s generosity to us and dedicate our gifts and pledges for 2027 in worship.

2027 Pledge Need: $1,160,000
For 2027, we ask you to consider a 6.5 percent increase over last year.
If you have not pledged before, we invite you to consider it.
A 6.5 percent increase in pledged giving will allow us to balance our budget without using any retained earnings.
What if a joyous new you will have more to offer your suffering generation than an overly serious you could ever bring to the table?
