Worship is at the center of our Sunday mornings.

And yet, there’s plenty going on both before and after. If you spend the morning with us, you’ll also find Sunday School classes for all ages, a nursery for the littlest ones, fair trade coffee, and a time of friendship and fellowship (complete with cookies and goldfish crackers) outside after worship concludes.

Child Care @ 8:15 am

Child care opens at 8:15 am every Sunday, ensuring that you can drop off your youngest and still make it to worship or your own class on time. Child care is available for infants through kindergartners. (First grade and older participate in their own classes and attend worship.) All of our nursery workers are experienced providers with training specific to our church setting and in accordance with our child protection policy. Your child will be safe, nurtured, and loved.

Early Church @ 8:30 am

During Lent, we are offering a second Sunday morning worship service. Early Church meets from 8:30-9:10 am in the Sanctuary. We worship in a familiar, sacred space, but the service has a distinctively different feel. We gather around tables set up throughout the Sower’s Chapel and the front of the Nave with coffee and pastries. The liturgy is similar to the 10:30 service, but somewhat abbreviated. Instead of a full-length sermon, a 5-minute introduction to the text is offered, followed by guided conversation. Prayers include specific requests you share with us. This service takes place Sundays during Lent, concluding on Palm Sunday, March 24.

Education @ 9:15 am

Our education hour offers something for every age or stage of life. Children and youth classes are grouped by age. Adult classes gather around particular topics, with some classes meeting all year and others meeting for just a few weeks. Click through for current offerings:

Worship @ 10:30 am

We give thanks and praise to our Creator and put the events of our lives in conversation with the promises of our faith. Every week includes a magnificent organ, a talented choir, and everything from Bach and Bunessan to Broadway. Prayers bring us before God with honesty. Sermons challenge us to understand God’s love in bigger and broader ways. Worship includes our intellect, our questions, and our conviction that the Gospel is good news for everyone. Check out recent worship services here.

Friendship & Fellowship @ 11:30 am

Every Sunday after worship, we gather outside for snacks and conversation. In the cooler months, we add coffee. In the warmer months, it’s lemonade. Sometimes the cookies are from the store. Other times the treats are homemade. No matter the menu, the commitment to hospitality is genuine. If you are visiting, there’s plenty of folks who are eager to great you. (We promise not to be too overbearing.) We expect all ages to join us, so grab the kids from the nursery before you stop by!
